Holy Aspirations (Sermon Outline)

TEXT:  Phil 3:7-14

• INTRO: We all aspire to something. Paul aspired in this way. Let’s aspire with him. In  Phil. 3:4-7 we  see the  aspirations of Saul of Tarsus.

1. That I may  win Christ. Phil 3:8
   • He wanted to find Him as a  daily  prize. I Cor. 2:2
2. That I may be found in Him. Phil 3:9
   • If he  abides in us we  shall be   found in  Him.
   • All who have put  on Christ have  put  Him on in baptism Gal. 3:26-27
3. That I might know Him. Phil. 3:10
   • Becoming like Him
   • We shall be  like Him. I John 3:2
4. That I may  attain to the resurrection from the dead.
   • I. Cor. 15:22
   • I Thes. 4:16-18
   • Titus 2:11-14
5. That I  may press on towards the goal.
   • II Tim. 4:6-8
   • I Cor. 9:27
